During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China will build Zero-waste Cities in 100 prefecture-level cities to jointly promote the reduction of pollution and carbon emission. In order to provide technical support for the Zero-waste Cities construction in China, initiated by Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (BCRC China), the 17th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology will be held on June 11 -14th, 2022, in Sanya, China, themed with Synergizing the Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions. International experts will attend the conference via zoom, and part of the conference will be broadcast online.
